Who we are
Built on the idea that logistics should be boring
In freight, excitement is a bad sign. It means a truck did not show, a delivery was missed, or a phone call went unanswered. Sultan Transportation was founded to remove that excitement from the lanes we run.
We operate as an asset-based motor carrier: our own authority, our own equipment, our own driver. Nothing gets handed off to a stranger. When a broker or a shipper assigns us a load, the person who accepted it is the person accountable for it — from the moment the rate confirmation is signed until the signed POD lands in your inbox.
Columbus is not an accident either. Sitting at the crossing of I-70 and I-71, our home base is within a single day's drive of roughly half the population of the United States and a large share of its distribution capacity. That geography is why we can commit to short-notice Midwest pickups that carriers based elsewhere cannot.
